How can I send wedding announcements when I don’t have a location in mind?
You’re getting married and you’ve chosen a date, but you aren’t sure of the location. So far, the only place you’ve been able to find that is free on that date is your Aunt Minnie’s local bingo hall and it really isn’t your dream place. You want to hold out for a better location, but you’re afraid all of your friends and family will commit to other events if you don’t send out wedding invitations. Should you just settle for the bingo hall and try to disguise it with a ton of decorations so you can mail off the invitations?
Actually, if you’ve been looking at Vistaprint’s invitation choices, you may have noticed that you can also choose announcements. One of those announcements is a simple “Save the Date” card, which is ideal for a couple that has a date in mind for the wedding, but isn’t sure of the location. When you send out these cards, you still have a chance to have a wedding in a place that doesn’t bring orthopedic shoes and blue hair to mind, but your loved ones will know that you need them to keep the wedding day free while you are hunting for the perfect location.

Can I design business cards that look like Victorian calling cards?
You’ve always been an admirer of Victorian times and wish you could fit some of the elegance and style of the period into your life. As you look at the options to design business cards on Vistaprint, you realize that some of the floral template designs are just beautiful and bring the Victorian style to mind. However, your business needs call for a very sophisticated, stark style. You take one last look at your favorite floral design. You have already hit the back button on your browser when you remember a scene from your favorite movie where the lead actress dropped a card onto a tray when she stopped in to visit a friend unannounced. Seconds later, you’re looking at that floral design again, because you’ve decided to make your own Victorian style calling cards.
To turn a business cards design into a Victorian calling card, you only need to make a few adjustments.
- 1. Choose a line on the card template that is near the middle of the card. Usually, this is the “Address Line 2″ space. Type your full name.
- 2. If the text isn’t large enough for your taste or if you would like a different font, click on the advanced editing feature and make your changes.
- 3. Initial the proof and finalize your order.

Every year businesses send out Christmas Cards to their clients and customers wishing them happy holidays and seasons greetings. This is a generous notion and also a great way to have your customers keep you in mind.
The only problem is that a holiday card has a very short shelf life, especially a Christmas card not from family. It’s hard enough even remembering all the Christmas cards received last year. Make your holiday cards stick out a little more by putting business cards in with them. Business cards have a muchlonger shelf life than Christmas cards and they are much easier to carry and hold on to. This way you will not only show your customers how much you value them, but also have them keep you in mind both during and after the holiday season.

Are address stamps a good idea for people who need to mail a large quantity of letters?
You only need to put your return address on 500 invitations to a big wedding bash. No problem. You may never be able to uncurl your fingers to let go of the pen when you are done, but youll get the job done. Hmm. Didnt you see an option for making address stamps when you were browsing through VistaPrints invitation designs?
With the future of your fingers at stake, you check out the options. As someone who is going to be sending a large quantity of letters, invitations, or announcements over the next few years, you are definitely interested in investing in address stamps. The only reason youre hesitating is that youre wondering if your rubber stamp will hold up under the workout you plan to give it.
Actually, an address stamp is able to make hundreds of clear, crisp address images with no sign of wear. In fact, these stamps hold up so well under heavy use that most people will only have to replace their stamps if they move to a new address! If the image does stop being extremely sharp, simply check to see if the stamp needs to be cleaned. If so, gently wipe off any fuzz. If not, you may need to re-ink the stamp pad.
