Photo Cards are a Great Holiday Tradition

    July 29th, 2009

Do many of your family members live far away? Do you wish you could see them more? During the holiday season, it’s often difficult to be away from those we love. That’s why sending christmas cards is such a wonderful tradition. Show Mom and Dad how much the kids have grown, or let everyone know about the most recent addition to the family, your beautiful baby.

Create custom holiday cards with a photo of your family, or design a postcard to mail to them. It is easy to create custom Christmas photo cards, simply upload your photo and choose a motif.

Whether you design something modern and sophisticated or sweet and simple, your family and friends will love receiving a holiday photo card.

How to Retain Customers with Your Marketing Materials

Keep Getting Your Expertise Out There

Position your company as a leader in its field. Create newsletters and hand outs that give tips and advice in keeping with the current needs and desires of your customers. Depending on your industry, you may want to hold clinics or learning seminars and invite your customer base to attend by mailing out invitations. Communicate useful advice on promotional items your clients are likely to keep such as shopping lists with advice on buying and storing food and/or new relevant recipes if you have a grocery store.

Expertise builds loyalty and trust and helps retain customers through an increased confidence in the company and their products or services. Brochures are a classic way of presenting new products or services that may interest current clients and help retain them. An important consideration when strategizing ways to communicate marketing messages meant to retain customers is to find out what would make your clients try your competitors. Of course, you want to discover this information so that you can make your marketing message and strategy one of giving your customer base what they want so you can retain their business.

Keep Using Customer References in Ads

Build powerful simple ads around customer testimonials and references. When a “satisfied customer for over 20 years” is still referring your company, this could inspire other current customers to stay with the business. Acquire references by mailing out letters asking for the “valued opinions of our loyal customers.” Remember to follow laws when it comes to using quoted material in your marketing materials.

Keep Following Through with Survey Cards

Remember that it costs much less to retain old customers than it does to try and acquire new ones. Follow up on product sales as well as any complaints promptly to find out what your customers think about your business. Printed survey cards can help you keep track of the information.

Even if a current customer has a negative experience with your business, you may be able to do the necessary damage control by following through and taking your customer’s feedback seriously. If he/she feels that the company is genuinely concerned about the situation and is taking measures to remedy it, then retaining that customer becomes possible. Let’s face it, sticking stubbornly to statements about company policy isn’t going to retain customers, but showing them good will and understanding just might!
